Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, established in 2015 as one of the newer IITs, is rapidly building its identity as a strong technical institution in southern India. Located near the temple town of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, IIT Tirupati is mentored by IIT Madras and inherits much of its academic culture.
