SID Entrance is conducted via the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission to B.Des programmes at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune - part of Symbiosis International University. SET is a common aptitude test; candidates applying for SID take SET followed by a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) specific to SID. Approximately 3,000-5,000 students compete for around 120 B.Des seats annually.

Is SET the same for all Symbiosis programmes?
SET is a common test, but each institute (SID, SLS, SCMS, etc.) has its own additional round - for SID it's the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
Can I apply to SID with UCEED/NID DAT scores?
No. SID only accepts admission through SET + DAT. UCEED/NID DAT scores are not accepted.
