Overview

CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examinations), Kerala conducts the state's NEET UG-based counselling for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH seats under the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) framework, covering government medical colleges (including Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Alappuzha, Thrissur and others) plus a large sector of self-financing/private colleges with separate management and NRI quotas. 15% of seats in every state government medical/dental college go to the All India Quota (AIQ), counselled separately by MCC (mcc.nic.in) - only the remaining share is filled through this state counselling.

• Kerala has one of India's largest self-financing medical college sectors alongside its government colleges - compare management/NRI quota fees carefully, since they differ sharply from government-quota fees at the same college
• Keep the standard document checklist ready - NEET UG admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, domicile/residence certificate, category certificate (if applicable), passport-size photos, and valid ID proof - keep both originals and photocopies ready for verification.
