Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot conducts Punjab's NEET UG-based state-quota counselling for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH seats, covering government colleges such as Government Medical College Patiala, Government Medical College Amritsar and Guru Gobind Singh Medical College Faridkot, plus Punjab's private medical colleges. 15% of seats in every state government medical/dental college go to the All India Quota (AIQ), counselled separately by MCC (mcc.nic.in) - only the remaining share is filled through this state counselling.
