APSMSC NEET UG Counselling (Andhra Pradesh State Medical Selections Committee - DME, Government of AP, Vijayawada)
Overview
The AP State Medical Selections Committee (APSMSC), under the Directorate of Medical Education (Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences), conducts Andhra Pradesh's state-quota NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH seats. AP's medical counselling body split from the erstwhile joint Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences after the 2014 state bifurcation, with Telangana now running its own separate system through KNRUHS. 15% of seats in every state government medical/dental college go to the All India Quota (AIQ), counselled separately by MCC (mcc.nic.in) - only the remaining share is filled through this state counselling.
