AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Vijayawada. It is the primary admission test for undergraduate Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy programmes offered by colleges within Andhra Pradesh. Previously known as AP EAMCET, it is one of the largest state-level entrance examinations with over 2-3 lakh candidates appearing each year. Final ranking combines AP EAPCET score (75% weightage) with Class 12 board marks in relevant subjects (25% weightage), and admissions are conducted through centralised state counselling.

What's the difference between AP EAPCET and AP EAMCET?
Same exam, renamed. APSCHE rebranded EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture & Medical) to EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy) after NEET took over medical admissions.
Is there negative marking?
No. Each correct answer is +1; wrong answers are not penalised. Attempt every question.
How is the final rank calculated?
75% weightage from AP EAPCET score and 25% from Class 12 board marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (Engineering stream).
Can students outside Andhra Pradesh apply?
Yes, but state-quota seats are reserved for AP-domicile candidates. Non-locals can compete for unreserved seats in private colleges.
Which colleges accept AP EAPCET?
