Overview

AMRUHP (Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh) coordinates the state-quota NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH seats at HP's government medical colleges, including IGMC Shimla and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC) Tanda. 15% of seats in every state government medical/dental college go to the All India Quota (AIQ), counselled separately by MCC (mcc.nic.in) - only the remaining share is filled through this state counselling. HP's counselling follows the standard multi-round structure and includes both government and a small number of private/AYUSH seats.

1. Register on the AMRUHP counselling portal after the NEET UG result
2. Upload documents and pay the registration fee/security deposit
3. Fill and lock college/course choices in priority order
4. Check round-wise allotment and report to the allotted college for verification
