Overview

Admission to MBBS at AFMC Pune is a multi-stage selection: candidates first qualify NEET UG, then submit a separate AFMC application, then attend a Test of Adaptability (ToA), interview and medical examination at AFMC Pune. There is no separate written entrance - AFMC discontinued its own entrance in 2015. Selected cadets serve a 7-year Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services post-MBBS.

• Qualified NEET UG in the same year with a high NEET rank (cut-off varies year to year, typically top ~1000 General-category AIR)
• Indian nationality, unmarried
• Age 17 to 22 years (24 for those who already hold a degree) as on the cut-off date
• Meet military medical fitness standards
