ACPC Gujarat Medical Admission (Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Ahmedabad)
Overview
ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) conducts Gujarat's NEET UG-based counselling for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH seats across government colleges, GMERS (Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society) colleges, municipal corporation colleges, and self-financed/minority private colleges. 15% of seats in every state government medical/dental college go to the All India Quota (AIQ), counselled separately by MCC (mcc.nic.in) - only the remaining share is filled through this state counselling. GMERS is a distinctive feature of Gujarat's system - a state-run network of medical colleges with subsidised, government-level fees that is separate from both the older government colleges and the private sector.
