RGUKT AP - Srikakulam Campus
RGUKT Srikakulam (Srikakulam district, AP) is one of four Andhra Pradesh campuses of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, a state university created by AP government act in 2008. Like its sister campuses, it runs an integrated 6-year PUC+B.Tech program open to students straight after Class 10, admitted via RGUKT's own CET rather than JEE/EAPCET.
โน๏ธAt a glance
Campus-specific placement and NIRF data were not found this pass - no source distinguished Srikakulam from the other three AP campuses. Left sparse rather than borrowed from a sister campus.
๐ฏAdmissions
Admission is via RGUKT CET, a separate entrance test open to Class 10 passouts across Andhra Pradesh (not JEE Main or AP EAPCET). Students join a 2-year PUC (junior college) bridge before the 4-year B.Tech, all within the same integrated 6-year program.
๐Academics & Faculty
- Curriculum: Integrated 6-year PUC + B.Tech program - unusual among Indian engineering institutes, designed to take students directly from Class 10 rather than after Class 12.
โ Who This College Is Best For
- Class 10 passouts (not Class 12) seeking a low-cost integrated 6-year path into engineering
- North coastal AP students wanting a nearby RGUKT campus
โ๏ธTrade-offs
โ Pros
- Distinctive integrated 6-year model - admission straight after Class 10
- Low/subsidized fees relative to most engineering colleges
- Only RGUKT-AP campus in the north coastal region
ร Cons
- No verified placement data found for this specific campus
- Commits a student to the RGUKT system from age ~15-16, before typical JEE/EAPCET-track alternatives are considered
