Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU)

PDEU (Pandit Deendayal Energy University), formerly PDPU (Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, founded 2007), is Gujarat's premier state university with a focus on energy, petroleum, and engineering. Located on a 100-acre campus in Raisan, Gandhinagar, PDEU is a Private State-Aided University co-founded by ONGC, GSPC, and Government of Gujarat. Strong CS and petroleum engineering placements (~14 LPA avg) with unique energy sector focus.

Originally PDPU (Petroleum); renamed PDEU (Energy) to reflect expanded focus beyond just petroleum. Unique among Indian universities for its energy-sector heritage.
