National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra

NIT (National Institute of Technology) Kurukshetra, established 1963 as Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra and upgraded to NIT in 2002, is Haryana's NIT. Located on a 300-acre fully-residential campus in the historic city of Kurukshetra (site of the Mahabharata war), NIT KKR offers strong CS placements (~13 LPA avg) and benefits from Delhi NCR proximity (160 km) for IT internships.

Among the original 17 RECs. Historic Kurukshetra is associated with the Mahabharata; nearby Brahma Sarovar is a major pilgrimage site. Delhi NCR proximity (160 km) is a placement advantage.
