NIT (National Institute of Technology) Hamirpur, established 1986 as Regional Engineering College and upgraded to NIT in 2002, is Himachal Pradesh's NIT. Located on a 320-acre scenic Himalayan foothills campus in Hamirpur, NIT-H offers strong CS placements (~12 LPA avg) in a uniquely scenic mountain setting.
