IIIT Delhi

IIIT Delhi (IIIT-D), established 2008 by the Delhi Government, is one of India's premier research-focused IT institutes. Located in Okhla, South Delhi, IIIT-D is a state autonomous university with deep research culture and exceptional CS placements (median 28+ LPA). Compact 25-acre campus but punches far above its size - consistently ranks ahead of many old IITs in CS research output.

Often confused with IIIT Bangalore - both are state-funded research IIITs. IIIT-D is highly research-active, with strong representation in top-tier CS conferences (CHI, NeurIPS, etc.).
